Station 36 is a Volunteer Fire Company that covers the Scott Twp.
area of Northeast PA. It is made up of many men and women
volunteers who live in Scott Twp. area. The department consists of a
'96 Central State Sparton Rescue Pumper, a 1985
Peter Pirsch Fire Truck, '74 Dodge Howe Power Wagon Brush Truck, a 2001
Ford/Wheel Coach Ambulance, a Dive Team, and a new 2006 Mack Crimson Tanker.
They hold monthly meetings on the first and third Thursday of each
month. The Department also has a Ladies Auxiliary that hold
meetings each month, and have various fund raisers throughout the year.
Including two Chicken dinner events, An Annual Gun Raffle and Pig Roast.
Our Open house at the end of Fire Prevention Week. Station 36 also
visits many schools in the area helping to teach younger children on the
proper ways to vacate a burning house.
